About Me
- Name: Pat McCarthy
- Location: Greenville, Ohio, United States
I've written over a dozen nonfiction children's books. My experience teaching elementary school for many years has helped me to understand kids and how to write for them. My favorite books are the biographies I've written. I'm also revising a middle-grade novel, for kids 9-12 and will soon start submitting it. Besides writing, I love photography and have sold many photos with my articles and books. I also love birding, scrapbooking, travel and camping. I've been to all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. I live in the small rural city of Greenville, Ohio with my cat, Oz, who rules the roost.

My gosh, you are a fantastic busy lady! Your life sounds very well balanced (in Suzanne's words), hopeufully making your cat & all around you to feel a bit more balanced as well.

Those ballons are so beautiful, I have never riden in one but I wonder if it would be romantic? It seems like it should be.
